survival mode

today was kinda boring. nothing big happened. two girls quit at work today. joy joy. knew it was coming but hey. kinda sad to see them go. but i understand. wish them happiness and success.

really need to find a place to stay. the hotel is getting a bit too expensive to keep up. haven't paid any other debts i owe because i have no money. hopefully i will start at another job. speaking of which, interview today. nothing big and exciting. lol. the lady was really friendly. i like her. my impression is i have the job. it is now a matter of making myself work two jobs.

it sucks to have to work two jobs. i mean come on. i went to college. and yeah i know i'm not using my skills... screw the skills. it wasn't something i would have been truly happy doing anyways. but i do wish i was doing something more with a lot of less frustrations upon frustrations.

nice lady repeat what i said which sounded odd.... so you are in survival mode. damn ain't that the truth. i mean i know that's what it is and i know that is what i said...just to hear it back. kinda shocker. hmmm.

busy bees

today was a blah day nothing major happened in my little world. people came and went. moving about in their busy lives. it truly is interesting to watch people. if you haven't watched people before, try it just once. believe me you will be fascinated with it. their interactions, their demeanor, the way they laugh, the way they look you in the eye... all of it fascinating.

so i was offered a promotion at work. not a big deal really. but really do i want the added responsibility? there really isn't a huge pay off for me.. besides the ole resume gets a nice touch up. so is it really worth the addition pressures of being the example or whatever is expected because with any promotion there is always more expectations. are they worth it?

one thing that eats at me always is busy bees. let me explain lol. busy bees are so busy roaming around aimlessly collecting as much information as they can about everything and everyone around them. they look for the secrets, the sore spots, the sensitive subject matters or whatever they deem as important information. they then take that information and spread it around to all the other busy bees. and soon enough you have so many busy bees in your life you just wanna shoot yourself. if that makes sense. lol.

the reason this comes up is because at work i have a couple busy bees. they just trying to find some great information that is going to come in handy some how some way. i am a private person for the most part. doesn't that sound funny. here i am putting thoughts and such out for the world to see... but then again, you wouldn't know it was me unless you knew... and if you knew... then you were deemed a safe person in my life to know the inners of my soul and such.

have no clue where i was going. lol

people and struggle and an outing

life seems to be a constant struggle. you keep trying to get ahead but every time you do, you get put back three steps. i used to think it was something wrong with me. that i was the only one every feeling this way... but there are more of you out there. feeling like life is just one big constant struggle.

i suppose we all have something we struggle with. struggle with drugs, struggle with money, struggle with alcohol, struggle with sex, struggle with work, you get the drift. so does it ever end up meaning anything at all?

went out for dinner tonight with the gang from work. it was fun times. mishaps happened but all in all it was a great time. loads of laughter with a little bitty touch of anger. felt a little sorry for our waitress she was alone. and we were a party of 7 added to her madness. took forever and a day to get something to drink so we knew refills were out of the question. but hey, who could really blame her. but i am sure she was raking in the dough.

for some reason i think the mad people who put some bosses in charge have really lost their minds. i have a boss who walks around like he is commander of the free world. its all about his authority. he is always saying something about his authority. yelling and waving his hands like he has madcow. makes me want to scream and yank every stand of my hair out!

okay maybe he just needs to get laid. who knows but come on! does he have to always be such a dickhead? there is a way to get a point across and there isn't he clearly only knows how to badly and wrongly to get his point out. creates hostility for everyone.

maybe he needs to go back to class and learn how to be human not commander of the free world... or whatever he thinks he is.... he is an assistant manager not god.
